From the Greek for 'golden flower'. Saint Chrysanthi is a female martyr venerated in the Orthodox tradition, her own feast celebrated on October 25. The name is also connected to Saint Chrysanthos and his companion Daria, martyrs of Rome commemorated on March 19.
